Clarice Cliff
Crocus.
Large Beehive shaped honey pot.
Circa 1931.
Hand Painted.
Bizarre by Clarice Cliff on the base.
There are some paint losses especially on the rim where the lid sits.
There is also some on the bee, one is on the orange body which is quite deep with curved smooth edges and shows the white underneath so this probably happened in manufacture.
There is also a tiny chip on the lid near the gap for the spoon.

Overall a very attractive item in very good condition.
