Rams Head Antiques

Description

This is a fine pair of French cassoulettes in solid rouge marble and bronze ormolu dating from the 19th Century. The urn shaped cassoulettes have fine rams head masks and rosebud swags to the bodies with torch flame finials all in solid cast bronze. These are both in excellent condition, with no damage or restoration.

This very smart pair are extremely heavy and substantial in size standing 44 cms high 16 cms in diameter and 13 cms square at the base.
