Description

This is an elegant early 20th century console with matching pier glass mirror in the French Empire style dating from around 1920. The tasteful design has matt ebonised columns with gilded Corinthian capitols with further gilded highlights throughout. The console has beautiful burr maple surfaces with a large mirror plate back. The elegant pier glass has a good clean plate and beautiful Verre Eglomise reverse painted glass panel with classical scene.
The elegant and neat design of these make it suitable for many situations with the console measuring 88 cms high 98 cms wide by only 28 cms deep. The mirrors is 62 cms wide by 112 cms high.
