A rare pair of brass fire dogs by renowned metal workers Benham and Froud, one of the pair clearly stamped with the Orb and Cross makers stamp, and design attributed to Dr Chrisopher Dresser. Both are in great lightly polished order, at some point they have been screwed to the floor with later soldering. Please see the photographs.. Viewing is welcome.
