This is a large, beautifully carved 19th century oak letter box made of oak. The foliate design on the front, lid and sides includes branches and leaves, flowers and scroll work. On the front the word 'Letters' sits nestled amongst the flowers and vines. The lid lifts to a void interior. There is a working lock and key.Size
