Description
Mid 18th century Longcase Clock by W. Andrews of London. The green and gilt chinoiserie lacquered case has a good original unrestored surface. The excellent 8 day 5 pillar movement is in fine working order. The arched 12" brass dial has a ticking/moving figure of Father Time in front of a gilded sun. The chapter ring, seconds ring and date aperture are silvered. Circa 1740.Height: 215cm (72 1/2")
