Description

The design of this iron floor lamp is rooted in the Arts and Crafts/Art Nouveau period of hand crafted items for the beautiful home. Standing on tripod feet, the lamp is a decorative pole with a brass acorn finial. Pivotting on the pole is a twin branched lamp holder, which also moves up and down the pole. The simple integral spring mechanism is cleverly made to be a design feature. The lamp has been completely re-wired. Circa 1930.
