Description
A very good example of the patented perpetual "Students" candle lamp, from the early 20th century. Made of brass with a silver-coloured finish, it has a round pedestal base, rising to an extending gun-barrel stem. It dismantles into 4 parts. The condition, including the spring mechanism, is excellent. The base is stamped "Veritas Lamp Works London".Date1920s
