An early carved wood childs rocking horse. Dating from the mid 19th century, it has an original painted finish, the dappling on the horse faded and worn with use. The stuffed saddle has seen many rides!The horse sits on original bow rockers, painted green.This charming antique rocking horse is rare, as it has not been re-furbished, and needs to be enjoyed in its originality.
