Description

Impressive example of the late 19th century Pedlar Doll. Under the glass dome, set into an oval gold painted stand, is a Fish Seller with her wares. Dressed against the cold and holding an umbrella, she has a vibrant painted face. Her extensive sea food is laid out in trays and baskets some are made up of tiny shells. A lovely piece of folk art, beautifully presented, standing on gold bun feet, and in very good condition. Circa 1880
