Description

An early 19th century sideboard of fine quality and bold design. Made from beautiful figuered Cuban mahogany, the deep single piece top is stupendous and has aged well, even with some dark staining.
The shaped front hols a single central drawer above a decorative arch. The corners are rounded with a cellaret drawer on the right side and a cupboard on the left. Black line inlay in a stylized Greek key pattern adds refined decoration to the front, enhanced with original bold brass handles.
Fluting to the columns and tapered reeded legs, with original brass casters, complete an exceptional piece of late Georgian cabinet making. Circa 1825
