Description
A Victorian mahogany folding card table, the top in quarter laid book-matched veneer with surrounding holly inlay and mahogany crossbanding. The table swivels and opens to reveal a later unmarked royal blue playing surface and a small receptacle for cards. The top is raised on an ornate solid mahogany turned and attractively carved central column with four intricately carved legs terminating in the original brass castors. The top is approx 184 cm square when open, 92cm wide when closed.DateVictorian
