Handsome and super quality 17th Century style distressed oak (also commonly known as ‘Ipswich’ oak after the area where a great deal of this type of furniture was made) hutch or small side cabinet, having an over-hung top above two cupboard doors with carved decoration, raised on turned legs united by stretchers.

The polish has been revived by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. It was ‘distressed’ when made, i.e. some marks and scratches were deliberately added to mimic the appearance of the 17th century furniture it aspires to emulate.
