Fine quality mid 19th century set of mahogany Campaign shelves united by brass uprights to each corner. Shelving units such as these were designed for ease of assembly and disassembly in mind, for the purpose of transport during military campaigns such as the Crimean War.DateMid 19th Century :

ConditionThis item is in original structural condition. The polish has been re-finished by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. A corner of the bottom shelf has been broken off at some point (see detail photograph), but this has been repaired and is sound, subject to normal use.
