Description
A truly outstanding piece of early Victorian mahogany furniture, this superb and well fitted gentlemen’s linen press.
This item boasts a large out swept cornice, break front design with four large cupboards to top, which open up to reveal numerous slides and drawers. This sits upon a multi-drawer base unit.
All drawers run extremely smooth and are fitted with the original turn mahogany handles. The item breaks down into eight individual pieces, for ease of transportation and reassembly.
Formally owned by Sir Reginald Seconde, this fantastic piece of furniture would grace any period bedroom or could be used as a magnificent housekeeper’s cupboard.
This piece is in good condition for its age with just minor pieces of moulding missing. As you can appreciate, this piece is over 150 years old and will show signs of wear and tear.
