We have for sale a decorative and very useful late Victorian or Edwardian quartered oak revolving bookcase circa 1900.

This attractive and functional revolving bookcase consist of two tiers with open oak sides supported on a cruciform base with a long central iron spindle extending through the centre of the bookcase to an iron bearing fixed to the underside of the top. The bookcase rotates freely and can accommodate 40 to 50 large books.

The bookcase is 35.5 inches (90.2cm) high, 18.5 inches (47cm) wide, 21.25 inches (54cm) deep and is in a very good antique condition other than the a little bit of surface wear commensurate with more than 100 years of careful use.
