We have for sale an exquisite Swansea trio decorated by the David Evans c1817.This rather stunning duck egg porcelain Paris fluted porcelain trio delightfully decorated in vibrant polychrome enamels with wild flowers including daffodils and butterflies. The execution of the decoration is truly superb.
The saucer is 6 inches (15cm) in diameter and the coffee cup, teacup and saucer making up the trio components are all in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The gilding is also in a remarkably good condition.
This Swansea trio is currently being exhibited as part of the selling exhibition of rare Derby, Pinxton, Nantgarw and Swansea porcelain "A journey with William Billingsley" 2016, ISBN: 9783741809903
