We have for sale a rare Nantgarw coffee cup from the saught after Spencer Thomas service c1815The coffee cup is of a typical Nantgarw high looped hanle form and was locally decorated with polychrome flowes and gilt by Thomas Pardoe. The service is illustraded in WD John 'Nantgarw Porcelain Album.
The coffee cup is 31⁄4 inches (8.2cm) high and carries a faint hairline.
This Nantgarw coffee cup is currently being exhibited as part of the selling exhibition of rare Derby, Pinxton, Nantgarw and Swansea porcelain "A journey with William Billingsley" 2016, ISBN: 9783741809903
