Royal Crown Derby Melton Pat. Lidded Sucrier 1894

Description
We have for sale a superb Victorian Royal Crown Derby lidded sucrier.The sucrier is of a standard form with two handles an a lid extending to a lovely gilt finial. The sucier is decorated in cobalt blue, iron red and gilt with the Royal Crown Derby Melton pattern. The underside of the body has full Royal Crown Derby marks with the date mark for 1894 along with the pattern No 2649.
The sucrier is approximately 4 & 1/2 inches (11.4cm) high from it's base to the tip of the finial and is in an excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and unusually no wear to the gilt. This is a piece that has obviously spent a life in a display cabinet.
