1972 Omega Stainless Steel Day Date Automatic

We have the pleasure of being able to offer for sale this very attractive Omega automatic wristwatch.

This gentleman's stainless steel sweep second day date watch has a lovely silvered dial with an outer minute and an inner hour chapter marked with a double stainless steel baton at the 12 o'clock positions and single stainless stell batons elsewhere. The dial is signed Omega Automatic, Geneve, Swiss Made and is in a very lightly aged but very condition. The dial is completed with the original stainless steel hour, minute and second hands, all of which are in an a very good but very lightly aged condition. The watch is encapsulated beneath an excellent acrylic crystal. The brushed stainless steel case with a polished stainless steel bezel is in a very good condition but does have a minor age related scratches. Removal of the stainless steel screw in back reveals that the inside of the case back is signed Omega within the Omega triangle and is marked Acier Inoxydable, Fab Suisse, Swiss Made, 1860169. Removal of the case back also reveals the Cal 1022 23 jewel automatic movement. The movement is marked with the Omega mark on the rotor and also signed Omega along with the serial number 35572875 dating it to 1972. The movement is in an excellent condition having just been fully serviced by our watchmaker.

The watch case is just over 1 & 1/2 inches (39mm) in diameter excluding the crown and the watch is presented on a new black leather strap. This watch like all of our watches is being sold with a full twelve month warranty.
