18th Century Derby Oval Pierced Basket Circa 1760

Description
We have the pleasure of being able to offer for sale this hard to find mid 18th century Derby fretwork basket.The basket is of an oval handled form and consists of a pierced basket with floral embellishments decorated in blue and white with a Chinoiserie scene. Typical of a piece of this period the base does not carry any marks.
The basket is basket is approximately 7 & 3/4 inches (20cm) long and is in an excellent condition with no chips or cracks and very little surface wear, however, there may be an extremely good repair to one of the handles.
