An Antique Carved TorchereIt looks & Feels Like Lime Wood
It Could Be 18th Century It Might Be 19th Century
It Stands A Tadge Over 4 Feet Tall In Its Stocking Feet
I purchased the Torchere this week from an old family of Antique Dealers. Unfortunately the mother of the dealer decided to follow the 70s fashion for stripping furniture and removed all the original Gilt and Gesso.
