Description

A stunning and rare English country house cast brass doorstop circa 1860 modelled as an elegant swan with the neck forming the carrying handle. Very well cast and still retaining its original lacquer which is totally intact. Has developed a beautiful golden colour. No weight in the rear and has never had one still a good weight. Unusually facing to the right (all the ones I have had face to the left). Very good condition. 15" tall x 6 3/4" wide x 2 3/4" deep.
