Description

A very good late 17th to early 18th century polychrome figure of the Madonna and Child. Each with their hand holding a pomegranate. Most likely Spanish school. Completely original with its original plinth. One small loss to the front of feet on the Madonna. Minor losses to the gesso. Obviously lost a long time ago. Does not detract from the beauty of this figure. Circa 1680-1720. 13 3/4" tall the base 4 5/8" wide x 4 1/8" deep.
