An interesting Georgian papier mache snuff box, circular form, the lid painted with mother and child. The illustration is titled 'The Morning Walk'.The papier mâché box was used to store snuff, a powdered form of tobacco, which was popular in the 1700s and 1800s for its stimulating nicotine boost.
This charming box would make a wonderful addition to any collection! In good condition for its age, some minor age related wear.
