A lovely example of a vintage Kokeshi Doll from Japan, hand turned and painted. This beautiful Yajiro Kokeshi doll, rare due to its large size, is signed by the artist Makoto Sato (1901-1970), as shown on the base.Kokeshi dolls are highly collectable and great pieces to add to your vintage, eclectic or contemporary interiors. They look stunning anywhere in the home - either as single pieces or displayed in a group.
