An authentic Michel Caugant French duck pate dish, signed. Full of character and beautifully bright in colour!There is the inscription on the base "Cette pièce en faience véritable a été entièrement réalisée à la main. Je vous la propose en exclusivité. Michel Caugant".
The base would have been filled with Caugant's expensive pâté, the top forming a lovely decorative lid. A true collectable now. In very good vintage condition.
