Mauchline Ware Thimble Case with an unusual scene of St. Marys, High Street, Oxford.

The thimble case is beautifully made with a slanting top and hinged back. It is lined with velvet inside to protect the thimble and it has a lovely little closing hook at the front. The condition is very good - the transfer on top is very crisp and clear.

The case is 1 5/8" tall and 1 1/2" long by 1 1/8" wide. The Silver (Chester) Thimble comes with the piece and has lovely detail.

This is a great sewing collectable!
