Description
This is a framed collection comprising seventeen antique Italian ex-votos. The assemblage features ex-votos in the shapes of a head, foot, torso, legs and several hearts of varying sizes and forms. These items are presented within an elegant, plain ebonised frame—potentially predating the ex-votos themselves—which showcases a yellow fabric background that provides a refined setting. Traditionally, such ex-votos serve as objects of thanksgiving offered upon fulfillment of a wish, making this collection both distinctive and highly collectible.Note: the heart to the lower right corner has damage visible form the images
