Albert SORKAU (1874-1951) The preparation of the bouquet. Oil on canvas signed lower right. We believe that the canvas is yellowed and needs cleaning. Painter of interior genre, pastellist, Symbolist, he was born October 24, 1874 in Toul (54) and died in Boulogne Billancourt (Seine) on February 12, 1956. He studied at the Academy of Boulogne-Sur-Seine and was a pupil of Léon Bonnat.
