Description

Sculpture after Guillaume Coustou (1677-1746). Bronze with brown patina "Cheval de Marly", XIXth century. Reproduction of one of the horses made by the sculptor Guillaume Coustou (1677-1746) in carrara marble between 1743 and 1745 for the park of the Chateau de Marly and today kept at the Louvre Museum. Signed on the terrace. Note that this decorative sculpture has a beautiful patina in the style of 18th century bronzes.
