Description

Walnut buffet Renaissance style. The upper part has a scrolled pediment that is adorned with a female mask. The central part opens with two glass doors framed by two carved bas-relief doors representing female allegories, probably summer and spring. There are also 4 carved columns. Opening with 3 drawers including 1 central decorated with a mascaron. The lower part is also adorned with small colonnaded doors with bas-relief sculptures depicting fantastic animals separated by a cartouche. Central niche with carved panels. Paneled sides. Furniture signed Goumain brothers, dated 1932.
