Important cast iron fire back decorated with the figure of Louis XIV, crowned a head of Apollo radiant in the center. The sides formed by windings are terminated by roosters. The copy we present is an identical model of the Great Stable of the King at Versailles (inventory number V6258). 17th century. Note a slot on the right of the plate.
