Description

French oak buffet deux corps, Normandy. The doors are carved with flowers, foliage, windings with acanthus leaves which are specific to Villedieu les Poêles(Normandy town). Handles and hinges in brass. The amounts are later, cornice, and top with canted. Three drawers rais-de-coeur, the top crossbar garnish with a flower basket. Mid 19th century.
