Description

A finely detailed oak carved panel salvaged we think from a large south German panelled cupboard. Decorative scenes like this were inserted into the centre of panelled doors, and this example depicts a huntsman and his dogs within a woodland clearing and tiny houses depicted in the far distance. Late 17th or early 18th century. 15cm wide, 11.5cm high.
