Description

A handsome Georgian chest with an arrangement of two over three graduated drawers, these have cockbeading around the fronts and attractive decorated brass pulls, with simple brass escutcheons. Standing on bracket feet, this will provide a traditional and sophisticated look to any bedroom and is a sturdy and functional storage piece.

Dating to the early 19th century Georgian period, this is made of mahogany and originates from England.

In good age related condition, this has been in use for over 200 years and has the marks of wear expected, with some scratches and marks to the top which have been polished over and some small scuffs, none of which are obtrusive. There is a small dent on the top right brass fitting. There is no key available, but the locks are in place.
