Description

All five pieces of this early 20th century walnut veneered bedroom suite feature sophisticated shell motifs, elegant brass fittings and unique design features which link them together as a defined set.

Overall each piece is in a very good condition however all pieces present signs of age related wear and as mentioned below there is slight damage to the tallboy. Some damage has been repaired and is barely noticeable above the right hand side door.
Originates from England.
Dates as circa 1920, early 20th century.
Made from Walnut veneer with Brass fittings.

Trifold mirror – Stands on splayed feet with no foxing to the mirrored surface. Showcasing the expertly carved and gilded details.

Dressing table – A stunning veneered walnut surface is protected by a glass top. Also featuring a low gallery back which will help prevent items from rolling off and out of reach. Below this two drawers on each side flank a slim central drawer which is above the knee hole. The legs on each side are elegantly stabilised by well-crafted cross stretchers.

Bedside cupboard -A good quality bedside cupboard which has a single shelf inside and slender legs that continue the same features as the dressing table.

Tallboy – A fine addition to the bedroom suite this tallboy has an abundance of storage space. The top surface is protected by glass. Below this two doors open to reveal two compartments with a shelf inside each. Further followed below by three wide drawers.
This item does have some minor damage to the right-hand side, however this does not distract from the overall style and charm.

Wardrobe – A splendid focal point to this bedroom suite which brings together the design elements and proudly presents them in an impressive well-made three door wardrobe. Featuring three sections that fit together onto a base for ease of maneuvering. Each of the two end sections include a fixed shelf and Everitt coat rails.
The left hand section also includes shoe rails.
Inside the center section it boasts a full length mirror, three sliding shelves and three drawers. Perfect for bedding or furthermore storage space.
