Description

A very large arts and crafts double door wardrobe with a spacious bottom drawer. Featuring a viking style sea vessel plaque made from copper and a long mirror door. The escutcheons are also made from copper and designed very typically of the arts and crafts period.
Inside it is sectioned in two, with 6 hooks each. Affixed to the top in the right-hand side is an unusual ceiling mounted triple hook, to the other a vertical positioned hanging rod.
An incredible item for mud rooms or bedrooms.

In good condition with some age related wear. Slight damage to the edge of the drawer and some natural age related splitting to the oak. The item also has loose door handles and the mirror has very slight foxing.
Originating from England.
Dated from circa 1900s, early 20th Century.
Made from solid oak and glass with copper and brass hardware.
