Delightful English Edwardian Rocking horse, circa 1910 on its original safety stand, manufactured by the highly respected makers of some of the most elegant English wooden horses to be found, 'FH Ayres, of 111 Aldersgate, London'.

Suppliers to only the highest class English retailers of the day, which included the famous London department stores 'Harrods' of Knightsbridge and 'Selfridges' on Oxford Street. This horse retains the original retailers stencil marking to the stand '22 Kings Street Manchester' which was the address of the famous Northern department store 'Kendals'.

This charming looking horse which are getting rare to find these days is in such superb condition throughout. With a charm and beauty of its own that is further enhanced by much of its original paintwork and delightful play worn character still intact.
