Description

This is an Antique Victorian Mahogany Bowfront sideboard in the Regency style c1875-90. Stylistically it looks like a Regency chest of drawers but this is a great example of the Victorians copying everything. Its a great piece with smaller proportions than the original would be so more practical to be honest. It has its original handles and key.

It is raised upon swept feet with ebony and boxwood inlay just above it. It has two short over three long drawers with triple reeded moulding to the top edge. The drawer front has fiddleback or curl mahogany veneer to it. A good small size and a pretty piece.
