GEORGIAN STRONG BOX

This is a solid Oak Georgian iron banded strong box c1760-1820. This wonderful and rare object has a solid oak carcas with iron banding all over it. The hand made blacksmiths side handles are designed to get two hands on each handle and are massive. It has a complex lock system that does not have any keys. It has great patination and retains a label from its latter use, the label reads
