An elegant elaborately carved set of six Victorian mahogany dining chairs of good quality.

c1870.

Drop-in serpentine shaped seats, over carved cabriole forelegs, with sabre back supports.

Upholstered to a very good standard using traditional methods. The fabric is a light gold / cream with a raised diamond pattern, which is used but in very good unworn condition.

All chairs are in excellent antique condition, very solid, sturdy and strong, with minor expected signs of age and use.
