Dorking Clock Centre

Description

Winterhalder & Hofmeier mahogany four glass mantel clock. It has a pyramid case, with thick bevel edge glass windows, rounded corners and bracket feet. The silvered dial has a Roman numeral chapter ring, and subsidiary dials for regulation and chime/silent. The W&H 8 day ting-tang movement sounds the quarters and hours. The dial is signed by the original retailer Penllington & Batty Liverpool.
