Description

19th Century burr walnut Inlaid credenza with a shaped top and a moulded edge, the frieze below decorated with inlay and having ormolu beading running along the front of the frieze, the front of the credenza decorated with ormolu mounts at the top and pierced ormolu mounts at the bottom, the end sections enclosed by curved glazed doors and a single fantastically inlaid door to the centre, each of these opening to reveal two fixed shelves inside, the whole piece standing on a nicely shaped plinth base.
Circa 1870 in very good condition. Only ware to the velvet, covering on the inside of the shelves otherwise stunning on display.
