An outstanding antique bentwood leather chaise longue by Thonet, made in Austria and dating from around the 1880-1900 period.

It is a most impressive piece, the quality is outstanding and this is extremely comfortable to relax in. The bentwood frame has a stunning design with beautiful curves, there is a ratchet mechanism that enables this to recline in various positions.

We have had this fully re-upholstered in a hand coloured russet leather, the bentwood frame has been re-polished. The condition is excellent for its age.
