Description
Early 19th Century French carved oak coffer, having a nice figured top with a decorative carved moulded edge, which opens up to reveal a large compartment space with a removable sloping plank, the front and sides of the coffer having carved floral decoration with five circular panels with each panel incorporating a figure head of various knights and a King at the centre, supported on rear square legs and front shaped legs. Circa 1810.47" x 19" x 29 1/2" high
