A truly stunning antique giltwood overmantel mirror dating from 1830.Wonderful overall look to the original water-gilding.
Well executed reeded columns terminating with bold, clasped lotus leaves, very impressive looking.
Slightly later mirror plate (c1880), which has an attractive grey hue to the silvering.
Original backing board.
Sizes 154 wide at top, 141 cm width of main frame, 113 cm tall.
