Description
A fine and large antique gilt oval wall mirror made by Charles Nosotti and dating from 1850.This very impressive piece measures 142.5 cm tall and 105 cm wide.
Superb original mercury silvered mirror plate with light overall foxing and the most wonderful overall sparkle to the silvering.
Frame all water-gilded to the highest of standards using genuine 23 carat gold leaf.
The original backing board remains intact.
The brass makers plaque of C. Nosotti 398-399 Oxford Street London on the rear of the frame, please see photos.
