Superb Antique Rocking Horse, made by Lines Brothers / Triang, dating from 1930.
This particular model is known as the Sportiboy and was made in six sizes, this little horse is size 1.
Retaining it's original dappled grey paintwork which is in lovely overall condition, showing plenty of "war wounds" from its years of playtime.
Original glass eyes are still intact.
The swing stand is 100% original and retains the two Triang metal badges on which end of the lower rail. The two cast swing iron brackets are both stamped with the Lines Bro's mark.
Some historical worm holes on the lower rail which have been treated as a precaution.
Size 85 cm from ground to top of head, swing stand length 91 cm.
