A Stunning Antique Giltwood Overmantel Mirror dating from 1870.A very good quality example, all carved and water-gilded to a very high standard.
Wonderful mellow look to the original gold leaf gilding.
Later mirror plate, but not recent, slight area of foxing at extreme base of plate.
Original ebonised plinth rail and backing board.
Sizes 139 cm tall X 133 cm max width at base.
